There’s a new kiddie train ride at the B&O Railroad Museum opening tomorrow.
Choo Choo Blueville takes children 2-12 on a 5-minute ride through a fictional town personalized by the museum’s new mascot Choo Choo Blue. The landscaped town has running water and 12 miniature buildings.
“Children and families who loved our former small children’s ride before will now truly enjoy the vastly improved ride and numerous visual enhancements,” said Courtney Wilson, Executive Director of the B&O Railroad Museum.
The ride will open to the public Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. It will run weekdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays, noon to 3 p.m. Cost is $1 per ride or $5 for unlimited rides for one day with paid admission of $8 for children 2-12; $14, adults; and $12, seniors.
