Can’t stand having all that Halloween candy in your house? Want to help your children learn an important lesson about giving?

On Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 3 to 6 p.m., smiles4children pediatric dental practice will buy back children’s unopened Halloween candy for $1 per pound. The event will be held at the Ellicott City location, 10045 Baltimore National Pike Suite A-1, and will also feature giveaways, gift certificates, light-up toothbrushes and more.

Drs. Ginsberg, Simon, Shroff, Jahnigen and Jaiarj ask that the candy be unopened when brought in because all treats collected will be sent to U.S. troops overseas as part of Operation Gratitude.

If you’d like to simply donate candy to send to the troops, you can do so by dropping it off at the Ellicott City office or the Catonsville office (1134 N. Rolling Road, 410-788-4555) Nov. 2 through 6 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
