If your preschooler can’t get enough of Elmo and his “Sesame Street” friends, check out the re-designed www.sesamestreet.org.
Launched to coincide with “Sesame Street’s” 39th season on PBS, the updated site has a fresh new look and interesting features specifically designed for the pint-size set.
For example, live action muppets greet children and guide them through the site’s interactive games. A new feature, Sesame Playlists, allows users to select from over 3,000 videos and over 400 games filtered by subject, theme or character.
“Just like the TV show, we put the famous Muppets center stage where they directly address their young audience and guide them through a structured play space that was designed to be safe, friendly, and easy to use,” said John Caruso, creative director and partner at Magnani Caruso Dutton, the digital agency that designed the site. “The entire online channel was redesigned to bring an updated broadband experience to their newest generation as well as long-standing fans of the show.”
